Chancellor’s Give Views on Economy
The week after Labour’s empty budget, the nation was able to watch those vying to be the next Chancellor face each other and the public in a live TV debate. George Osborne, Conservative Shadow Chancellor revealed plans to help families and businesses by pledging not to raise National Insurance.
This week some of Britain’s most successful Business leaders have backed the Conservative plans on the economy, recognising the need to support Business as a positive way of getting out of recession

Speaking to Voters in Watford
Richard and the campaign team have been out canvassing this week all over the Constituency. It is clear when speaking to people on the doors that people in Watford really want to see change nationally and locally.
People are often amazed to hear just how close the election was in 2005, with less than 2000 votes between the three main parties. Voters in Watford really will play a crucial role in deciding the next Government. Watford is one of the seats that David Cameron must win to form a new Conservative Government and get rid of Gordon Brown. A vote for any other party will mean that Gordon will add another 5 years to an already disastrous and wasteful 13 years of Labour Government.
… And the Team at Channel 4 News
Just as I was about to press send on this email Richard got a call from Channel 4 news who were out filming in Watford. Luckily they were able to film our street stall on Watford High Street and then interview Richard on Conservative plans for the economy. Tune in at 7.00 tonight to see if Richard made the cut.
I hope you all have an enjoyable and peaceful Easter weekend. We will all be relaxing on Easter Sunday in preperation for a very busy few weeks ahead.
